ON May 4, Clement Seymour (Coxsone) Dodd, the founding father of the Jamaican music industry, died of a heart attack while working at his famed Studio One at 13 Brentford Road in Kingston. He was 72. Four days earlier, Brentford Road had been ceremoniously renamed Studio One Boulevard. Read more…
